Privacy, limits and what each mode does.

Is my content private? Where is it processed?

Local modes — HTML, images and documents (text, CSV, JSON, conversations) — run entirely in your browser. Scripts and external resources are blocked, and nothing is uploaded. Webpage conversions are processed on our server, and tasks plus results are kept for 24 hours before removal.

What can I convert to PDF?

Public webpages, HTML files or resource ZIPs, JPG / PNG / WebP images, and pasted content: plain text, CSV / JSON data, and email or conversation threads. Signed-in pages are handled with the desktop extension.

Do I need an account?

No. Local conversions work without signing in. A free account is used for online webpage conversions, batch history and Pro features. Sign in or create one from the account page.

What is the difference between Free and Pro?

Both plans include every tool. Free covers local conversions plus a limited online allowance (15 / month) and standard limits (10 URLs/batch, 5,000 mm long pages, 40 MB output, 24 h retention); Pro raises the allowance to 1,000 / month, jumps the queue, and unlocks higher limits (50 URLs/batch, 20,000 mm, 100 MB, 30 days). Are the PDFs searchable?

Webpage and HTML conversions produce text-based, searchable PDFs. Downloaded PDFs from measured pages are image-based; using Print / save searchable PDF preserves selectable text. Images themselves are not OCR'd, so they stay non-searchable.

What are the file and page limits?

Webpage / HTML downloads are capped at 100 pages. Images allow up to 30 files, 60 MB and 80 megapixels total. Documents accept under 2 MB of text. HTML ZIPs allow up to 10 MB compressed / 20 MB expanded.

How long are my results kept?

Online tasks and results are retained for 24 hours, then removed automatically. Local conversions never leave your device, so there is nothing to expire.

Can I customize the layout?

Yes. Choose paper size, independent top / bottom / left / right margins, orientation, font size, line height and paragraph spacing, with a live preview before saving.

How do I convert a signed-in or private webpage?

Use the GoodConvertPDF desktop extension while viewing that page. On mobile, use your browser's Print / Save as PDF where available. See the signed-in webpages note above.

Is there batch conversion?

Yes. Batch & history handles bulk conversions and keeps your recent task history in one place.
