The short version

GoodConvertPDF converts pages, images, data, conversations and AI chats to PDF inside your browser. Local conversion content is not sent to our servers. We keep the account and subscription data needed for sign-in and Pro management. Cloud conversion processes public URLs on the server and retains tasks and results for the stated retention periods.

1. Information we collect

• Account data: Google sign-in provides your email and account identifier to create and identify your account. Email-code sign-in uses your email address.
• Subscription data: your plan, subscription status and renewal date. Payments are processed by Creem; we do not receive or store your card number or full payment details.
• Technical data: minimal server logs (such as request time and endpoint) needed to operate and secure the service.
• Support messages: what you send us when you contact support.

2. Local and cloud content

Local files, images, CSV/JSON, email, conversations and AI chats are processed on your device and are not transmitted to us. Cloud webpage conversion instead processes the submitted public URL, settings and results on our servers.

3. How we use information

To authenticate you, keep your Pro status in sync across devices, process payments and renewals, provide support, and keep the service secure and reliable. We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for advertising.

4. Who we share it with

• Google — for sign-in (we receive your email and account identifier).
• Creem — our payment provider, which handles checkout, billing and the customer portal.
• Hosting provider — runs our servers and database ([HOSTING_PROVIDER / REGION]).

These providers only receive the data needed to perform their function.

5. Cookies and local storage

The extension and website store sign-in tokens locally. Your manually selected language is saved for one year in the gcd_locale cookie. Cloudflare provides a country for the initial language selection; our language function does not store raw IP addresses. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

6. Data retention

We keep account and subscription data while your account exists and as long as needed for legal, accounting or security purposes. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, email [CONTACT_EMAIL].

8. Children's privacy

The service is not directed to children under [AGE]. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

9. Security

We use encryption in transit, restrict access to personal data, and keep dependencies updated. No online service can be perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data.
