What does "Webpage to Markdown" do?
It fetches a public page, isolates the readable article (or the full document), and converts the cleaned HTML into Markdown via Readability and Turndown — preserving headings, tables, code blocks, lists and links.
Is my content private? Where is it processed?
Webpage conversions run on our server and the task plus result are kept for 24 hours before automatic removal. Nothing is published; only you can download the result with your session.
Article vs Full page — which should I pick?
"Article" extracts the main content and drops nav, ads and sidebars, which is best for blog posts and docs. "Full page" keeps everything on the page when you need the complete layout.
What is the YAML front-matter?
A small block at the top with the title, source and exported date, plus a generator tag. It is handy for static-site generators and note tools. Turn it off if you want bare Markdown.
How long are my results kept?
Online tasks and results are retained for 24 hours, then removed automatically. Use the download within that window, or convert again later.
